Matthew Chandler

Matthew Chandler, MD, is board certified in Internal Medicine. He has expertise in gastroenterology and liver disease, and his clinical interests include inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Chandler is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The George Washington University and was also Chief Medical Resident there.

Dr. Chandler earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where he also received the Stanley Fellowship Grant for Research in Psychiatry and two scholarships. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The George Washington University, where he went on to complete a fellowship in gastroenterology.

In addition to his medical accomplishments, Dr. Chandler has been published in several publications.
