Assistant Professor of Surgery
Houtan Chaboki, MD is a facial plastic surgeon and Assistant Professor of Surgery at The George Washington University Medical Center. He brings experience in cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery to patients in Washington DC, northern Virginia and Maryland.
Dr. Chaboki earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago. After completing his surgical residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York, he served as a facial plastic surgery Fellow. He continues to instruct other physicians, including international physicians, in both facial plastic surgery fundamentals as well as more specialized techniques at The George Washington University. His research includes aesthetic rhinoplasty and nasal surgery.
Dr. Chaboki is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the world’s largest specialty association. Through the Academy, he performs pro-bono cosmetic surgery for victims of domestic violence. As a member of FACE TO FACE: The National Domestic Violence Project, he contributes his time and surgical expertise to provide complimentary care for these patients.
