Ameet Singh

Ameet Singh, MD, otolaryngologist, is Director of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS). His clinical expertise includes diseases of the nose and sinuses, chronic sinusitis, nasal and sinus tumors, functional rhinoplasty, and minimally invasive sinus and skullbase surgery. He is one of the only surgeons in the Washington, D.C. area performing minimally invasive endoscopic surgery to remove brain tumors at the base of the skull.

Dr. Singh is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery in the Department of Neurosurgery at the George Washington University Medical Center.

Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College, where he was awarded the prestigious Charles Horn Prize for service and the Ben H. Kean International Fellowship. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York. Following his residency, he accomplished a fellowship in advanced Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull-Base Surgery at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York.

In addition to his training accomplishments, he has presented at several scientific meetings and delivered many lectures on endoscopic sinus and skull-base surgery at national and international forums.

Dr. Singh is a member of the North American Skull Base Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Rhinologic Society.
