Named Best Physical Rehabilitation Center in Washington, DC by Newsweek
The George Washington University Hospital was named the best physical rehabilitation center in Washington, DC in 2022 by Newsweek and Statista Inc., a leading global provider of statistics and rankings. Participants in a nationwide survey ranked the top 10 physical rehabilitation centers from their respective states or regions. The centers eligible for the rankings were identified according to the definition of inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). IRFs are freestanding rehabilitation hospitals and rehabilitation units in acute care hospitals. Centers which offer outpatient physical rehabilitation services only were excluded.
