Barry A. WolfmanCount on us for complex medical care

Complex medical care is nothing to take for granted. It’s something that is only possible through research, education and application by experienced, skilled physicians and surgeons. The care we provide at the George Washington University Hospital is a result of highly specialized knowledge gained through multi-disciplinary study and many years of practice.

StethoscopeThis issue of Health News offers examples of how we treat some of the complex medical conditions people face. We’ve recently been honored as an AAGL Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology, are practicing innovative, anterior hip replacements and are one of only about 10 hospitals in the country to perform incision-less POEM esophageal surgery. GW Hospital is known for its school of medicine and health sciences and a commitment to clinical care that is based on the solidity of medical research.

All this and more, is why, when patients need complex medical care, they come to us.
