GW Hospital To Participate in 2014 NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo January 11-12 at Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Mark your calendars now! GW Hospital will participate in The 2014 NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo, on January 11 and 12 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

We'll have free prostate cancer screening exams which are recommended for men between the ages of 40 and 70.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, beginning at approximately noon, GW Hospital will host a discussion on the topic of What Comprehensive Breast Care Really Means, by Jessica Torrente, M.D., Assistant Professor of Radiology, GW Breast Imaging Center. At approximately 12:45 p.m., a discussion will take place on the Latest Prostate Screening Guidelines and How They Affect You, by Compton Benjamin, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Urology Clinical Director of Urologic Oncology at GW Hospital.
