Tiffany Sotelo, MD, is the Director of The Pelvic Floor Center at The George Washington University Hospital and assistant professor of urology at The George Washington University Medical Center. Her clinical interests include female urology and urinary tract and pelvic reconstruction. She offers comprehensive expertise in urological disorders, specializing in voiding dysfunction, male and female incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary tract reconstruction and benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Dr. Sotelo has published multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. She frequently has been invited to present her research findings at national meetings. Her research focuses on outcomes of artificial urinary sphincters and urethral slings for incontinence, and her research accomplishments have been recognized with numerous awards.

Dr. Sotelo earned her medical degree from The George Washington University. She completed her general surgery internship and residency in urology at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She also completed a fellowship in urinary tract and pelvic reconstruction at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. While at M.D. Anderson, she received fellowship training from internationally recognized experts.
