Fabio Roberti, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurological Surgery at The George Washington University. Dr. Roberti is a board-eligible neurosurgeon for the American Board of Neurological Surgery and a board-certified surgeon with the Italian Board of Neurosurgery. His clinical expertise includes neurosurgical oncology, skull base surgery, radiosurgery, neuroendoscopy, microvascular decompression, neurotrauma and spinal surgery.

Dr. Roberti earned his medical degree from the University of Modena in Modena, Italy, where he also completed a residency program and served as faculty. He completed both his neurosurgery residency training as well as a fellowship in cranial base surgery and microneurosurgery at The George Washington University Medical Center. After completing his residency training, Dr. Roberti served as a neurosurgeon in the Neurosciences Department at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, before returning to The George Washington University Hospital.

Published in many prominent surgical neurology journals, Dr. Roberti has authored numerous manuscripts and book chapters. He has been invited to speak to many groups in the U.S. and abroad. His lectures primarily cover techniques and surgical approaches to various skull base pathologies.

Dr. Roberti is an active member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Tumor section of the AANS/CNS, the North American Skull Base Society, the Italian Society of Skull Base Surgery and the Italian Society of Neurosurgery.
