
Richard Davis was named Chief Financial Officer of The George Washington University Hospital in April 2001. In this capacity he is responsible for the financial oversight of all Hospital activities.
Mr. Davis joined The George Washington University Hospital as Assistant Controller in 1997, and was promoted to Controller in 2000. During his tenure in those positions he oversaw conversion and implementation of several accounting measures aimed at increasing efficiency and productivity. Prior to joining GW he held such positions as Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager and Accountant at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.
Mr. Davis received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1993 and is currently working toward his M.B.A. at The George Washington University.
