Michael Eppehimer was appointed Associate Administrator at the George Washington University Hospital in August of 2007. Mr. Eppehimer is responsible for Pharmacy, Laboratory, Environmental Services, Wound Care Center, Medical Staff Office & Physician Relations, University Relations, Parking and other special projects. He will also take an active role in leading the Baldrige Journey to Excellence.
Prior to his promotion to Associate Administrator, Mr. Eppehimer was the Director of Physician Relations at GW Hospital. In that capacity, he worked to improve physician satisfaction, generate new hospital referrals and streamline the physician credentialing process. Prior to joining GW Hospital, Mr. Eppehimer worked for the Advisory Board Company, a healthcare think tank and consulting firm serving hundreds of hospitals across the United States.
Mr. Eppehimer is a graduate of the University of Maryland and is in the process of completing his Master’s in Health Services Administration at The George Washington University.
