Gary Little, MD, FAAEM was named Medical Director of The George Washington University Hospital in March of 2009. Dr. Little is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at The George Washington University Medical Center. Prior to coming on board as medical director, Dr. Little was chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly, Md.
Dr. Little has served on the medical faculty since 2002. He completed his residency at GW Medical Center where he was chief resident in emergency medicine. He earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston and his bachelor of arts at Occidental College in Los Angeles.
